The Rector of the University of Udine, prof. Roberto Pinton, and the Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair and director of the SPRINT-Lab, prof. Stefano Grimaz, took part in the 40th UNESCO General Conference, held in Paris at the UNESCO headquarters from 17 to 27 November. After attending the session of the General Conference dedicated to the mobility and inclusion of university students worldwide, chaired by Stefania Giannini, UNESCO Deputy Director General for Education, the Rector and prof. Grimaz participated in a discussion with the UNESCO leaders in the Natural Sciences sector to discuss the synergy and developments of the activities between the UNESCO headquarters and the UNESCO Chair in Udine, analysing in particular the implementation of the VISUS methodology for the evaluation of multi-hazard safety of the school infrastructure.
