She achieved a master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Udine (2006). In 2017 she accomplished her PhD at the University of Udine in Environmental and Energy Engineering Science with a research on the “Characterization of elementary scenarios for multi-hazard safety assessments of learning facilities”. Currently, she is attending a research project with the title: “Decision making support, based on ESR technique, for defining safety upgrading strategies at regional level” at the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Udine.

Her research focuses on the definition and application of vulnerability-based methods for the safety and risk analyses. She has worked alongside the institutions of the National System of Civil Protection (National Fire Corps and Civil Protection of Friuli Venezia Giulia), providing scientific support as well as developing methodologies for the analysis and evaluation of emergency scenarios, with particular attention to safety management.
