He achieved a master degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Udine in 2020. He is attending a research project with the title “Characterization of intervention needs for safety improvements of road infrastructures on the basis of the outcomes of targeted visual inspections“ within the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture (University of Udine), this project is part of a research program named VISIVIA that has the objective to develop evaluation tools for supporting the inspection activities of the Italian National Agency for safety of railways, roads and motorways infrastructures (ANSFISA).
His research provides for the identification of methods for characterizing deficiencies of performance in terms of intervention needs for the improvement of the safety of the assessed infrastructures, the experimentation of different visual inspection techniques, the development of impact estimation algorithms based on the data acquired in the visual inspections, definition and implementation of customized methods of analysis and processing of the data collected for the quantification and representation of a targeted set of significant indicators.
