Ing. Alessandro Moretti
He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 2016 and a Master's degree in Environmental and Territorial Engineering in 2019 at the University of Udine. In 2019, he began his Ph.D. studies in "Energy and Environmental Engineering Sciences" (XXXV cycle) at the same University, completing his studies in January 2023 (with the final discussion scheduled for mid-year).
As a research fellow at the SPRINT-Lab, he is involved in the "Engineering of processes and tools to support the management of disaster management cycle phases". This activity is part of the SPRINT Team's research, delving into issues of territorial planning and prevention, and the management of meteorological and hydrogeological events to evaluate the vulnerability and resilience of networks, mainly water networks, in the territory. His research aims to delineate indicators for characterizing networks in order to evaluate their safety and propose response actions in the event of an emergency.
